This year, our keynote speaker is a crowd favorite from the 2019 Convention, Dr. Jody Janati. Her no-nonsense approach will keep you engaged (and laughing) as she hits home some solid tips for beefing up your public speaking skills. Don't miss it!

We'll also use this time to help plan out your 2019-2020 chapter season. Get together with your other chapter leaders, brainstorm the who, what, where and when. Network with other chapters to share ideas get the creative juices flowing.

In the evening, sit back for dinner and our Speaker Showcase where you'll get previews of the hot up-and-coming speakers you may want to book for your chapter.

Dr. Jody Janati, Founder, Professional Speaker | Communication Innovation

Trainer, speaker, conference facilitator… Jody Janati has an Ed.D. degree in Organizational Leadership, and a M.A. degree in Speech Communication. During her academic career she held a number of administrative positions in higher education, taught over 10 years for the University of MN and continues to work with the MN State Prison system. She offers a variety of public and professional workshops on conflict reduction tactics and effective communication skills throughout the year. She is the author of DailyOm's best selling online class "Protect Yourself from Control Dramas and has authored five books. She is also the co-owner/publisher of Natural Awakenings Magazine Twin Cities. ​

Josh is responsible for promoting credit union service and outreach, fostering opportunities for growth and leading The League’s development program for Wisconsin's young credit union professionals, the YP Network. Josh also consults with credit unions statewide on budgets, accounting issues, strategic and board planning and any number of operational issues affecting their outreach and success.
