The Power of Mindful Breath

There’s no question we live in an over-stimulating world. Our human brains aren’t designed for this bombardment of sensory input, and, not surprisingly, many of us react to it in kind – by Overthinking, Over planning, and Overextending ourselves. We engage not in thoughts and behaviors that are best or normal for us instinctively, but by those that are normalized by society. Since stress is inevitable, having a tool to gracefully manage it can mean the difference between a mediocre life, and one so fulfilling you’ll actually wake up feeling excited.  

With the ability to calm your nervous system, boost immune function, deepen sleep, enhance mental clarity, improve performance, and even rewire our subconscious thoughts, there are few other activities as powerful as intentional breathwork. Breathing, unlike many other automatic functions, is something we can manipulate, and doing so creates a bridge between our conscious and subconscious brains.  It allows communication that isn’t possible when we’re in a constant state of “fight-or-flight,” hustling to keep up, and enables us to create, believe, and foster Leveled-Up ideas and thoughts.  We have the power to change our realities and focusing on our breath is one way to start.   

Join Emma Rose, PA-C, for an exploration of breathwork, complete with guided exercises that will leave you feeling calm, clear, confident, and inspired.

Linda helps leaders enhance business relationships; improve sales opportunities; communicate more effectively so they are heard and understood; and to have the courage and confidence to ask outrageously to get what they really want. Linda learned first-hand how to negotiate results from her experiences in the courtroom and the boardroom. During her 10 years practicing law, Linda became a partner, had several successes negotiating multimillion-dollar deals, and resolved cases that “couldn’t be settled.” She also became a respected mediator in the Texas legal community. In addition to earning her law degree, Linda received advanced negotiation training through the Attorney-Mediators Institute, Harvard/MIT’s Program on Negotiation, and The University of Houston’s A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center. Linda also spent five years with Vistage, the world’s largest CEO development organization. During her role as a Chair at Vistage, she advised and coached CEOs and key executives both in one-to-one settings and in peer groups.

Emma has 20 years combined experience in the health, wellness, and medical fields her clinical expertise is in helping clients adopt healthier mindsets, habits, and lifestyles. Through modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, fitness instruction, guided breathwork, and neuroscience coaching, Emma helps people understand and build productive and empowered mind-body connections and make deliberate and intentional health-promoting changes.  She provides Physical Health Monitoring services as a Comprehensive Community Services Provider, runs her Health Coaching business, and teaches Zumba classes in the community.
