You are a leader. Let’s learn from experts and peers alike how to embrace our skills and share those talents at work and in life.

March 15 | Happy Hour | 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm  (Optional)

8:30 am –  9:00 am

9:00 am – 9:30 am

9:30 am – 11:00 am
Igniting Your Authenticity for Greater Leadership Legacy

Amber Swenor, Transformation Strategist, Business Coach, Speaker & Trainer | Founder of the Soul Seed family of brands

  • Authenticity (starts with you)
  • Attraction (attracting others to your vision)
  • Alignment (aligning the team/stakeholders)
  • Amplification through Expansion (leadership pitfalls/ways we prevent our impact from expanding. allow your leadership influence to expand beyond you)

No one person can build something alone, it requires a team. Yet every team requires leadership. As a leader you have the opportunity to be a conduit for team alignment and amplification of impact. The ability to create that change starts with embodying your gifts, talents and strengths as a catalyst for impact.

In this discussion you will learn to tap into deeper authenticity to attract your team and stakeholders to the table, expand your skills for aligning everyone to a shared vision and learn how to amplify your impact by allowing your leadership to expand beyond you, regardless of your role at your credit union.

You’ll also learn how to engage savvy strategy to amplify your impact (working from your zone of genius, activating those around you, and working smarter, not harder).

11:00 am – 11:30 am

This is also an opportunity to help build the Wisconsin Sister Society of the GWLN.

11:30 am – 12:30 pm

12:30 pm –  2:30 pm
From People Pleaser to People Leader
Stacie VanDenBerghe, CEO | CU Innovate
Eleanor Roosevelt once said: “Do what you feel in your heart to be right - for you’ll be criticized anyway. You’ll be damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.”

As a leader, it is your job to put what is right above all else and lead others to do the same. Leading by doing what is best for your external and internal members first may not always be the popular decision. Stacie will guide the group in honest dialogue about our tendencies to please and challenges for breaking through to become a stronger leader. You will have the opportunity for small group discussions and will gain understanding that your leadership can bring bigger rewards than people-pleasing by changing the impact you have on those you lead.

2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Pull Up a Chair Leadership Roundtable

Stacie VanDenBerghe, CEO | CUInnovate
Val Mindak, CEO/President | Park City Credit Union
Stacie and Val will lead this engaging, thought-provoking and energetic conversation. We will get started with some real talk about career path, struggles & successes and share relatable stories and aspirations.  What does work/life balance really mean and is it attainable? How can I make the most of my role and create opportunities? Lots of time for Q&A and exchange of ideas.
