In this interactive workshop, participants will explore the core elements of designing and launching a successful financial coaching program within a credit union. We’ll cover foundational strategies for community mapping, staffing, and program design; examine common barriers to financial well-being; and share insights from successful credit union models. Participants will leave with practical tools to begin shaping a coaching program that meets the needs of their communities.

Speakers

Josh Roberts

Vice President of System Collaboration & Development | The League

Josh is responsible for promoting credit union service and outreach and fostering opportunities for credit union growth. You can also find Josh helping Wisconsin's small credit unions with operational consulting, provides strategy assistance by facilitating Strategic Planning Sessions, and providing various training for credit union leaders, staff, and boards. Additionally, Josh spearheads diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for The League and its member credit unions and is also the League Liaison for the Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation and oversees its operations.

Josh has nearly 20 years of experience in the financial industry, having served credit unions as a vice president, controller, and compliance officer.  He is a graduate of CUNA Management School, where he served as Class President, and a 2016 graduate of the Credit Union Development Educators (CUDE) program.  

Josh currently serves on the Executive Committee of the CUNA Lending Council and is Vice-Chair of CUNA Lending Council’s Member Resources Committee and Vice-Chair of the Engagement Committee. In addition, he is engaged in the community, serving as Board Chair for the Milwaukee Area Technical College Accounting Advisory Board, and as a member of the Milwaukee Area Technical College Banking and Finance Advisory Board. He has previously held positions and volunteered with local neighborhood associations, the American Red Cross, and local environmental organizations.

Lydia Lynch

Vice President of Brand and Community Partnerships | Capital Credit Union
Lydia Lynch is the Vice President of Brand and Community Partnerships at Capital Credit Union, where she leads the development and execution of brand strategy, community engagement, and strategic partnerships that drive growth and deepen member loyalty. With over 11 years at the credit union, Lydia’s career reflects a steady progression through marketing leadership roles that blend strategic insight with a strong commitment to community impact. 

Hannah Altwegg

Financial Education Specialist | Summit Credit Union
Hannah Altwegg is a passionate financial educator and banking professional with over four years of experience at Summit Credit Union, where she currently serves as a Financial Education Specialist – Community Partners. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Hannah focuses on youth financial literacy, career development, and community outreach, with a special emphasis on underserved student populations in the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD). 

Paola Paolino

Bilingual Financial Education Specialist, Community Partnerships | Summit Credit Union
Paola Paolino is a seasoned financial professional with over 15 years of experience at Summit Credit Union, where she currently serves as a Bilingual Financial Education Specialist – Community Partnerships. In this role, Paola leads initiatives to deliver financial literacy and wellness education to diverse communities across Wisconsin—bringing culturally inclusive, bilingual programming to schools, nonprofit organizations, and community partners. 

Megan Bolado

Director, Learning and Inclusion | Inclusiv

Megan joined Inclusiv in 2023 as the Director of Learning and Inclusion. In this role, she leads Inclusiv's financial empowerment strategy by designing and implementing comprehensive initiatives that support credit unions in providing high-quality, personalized financially inclusive programs and services to individuals and families in low-income and historically excluded communities. 

With more than 15 years of experience in asset-building and financial capability, Megan is passionate about building opportunities and inroads to help households navigate a complex financial system towards a future where they can financially thrive, not just survive. She has previously held roles at the International Youth Foundation, Points of Light, Prosperity Now and Change Machine, specializing in finding solutions for integrating inclusive financial products and services into community systems. 

Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Georgia and a Master of Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from New York University. A native Atlantan, Megan recently returned to Georgia after almost fifteen years in the Northeast Corridor where she now spends her free time spoiling her dog and pretending to garden. 

Courtney Anclam

Senior Program Specialist | AARP Wisconsin
Courtney joined the AARP Wisconsin team as the Senior Program Specialist in 2018. As part of her role, Courtney manages outreach related to the Fraud Watch Network – AARP’s fraud prevention program that offers free resources to people of all ages. She collaborates closely with other nonprofit organizations and government agencies to educate Wisconsinites about how to spot and avoid scams. 

Amber Miller

Senior Associate State Director-Community Outreach | AARP Wisconsin

In her current role as Sr. Associate State Director of Community Outreach with AARP-Wisconsin, Miss Miller focuses on expanding the AARP Livable Communities initiative, being the frontline voice and presence with the 50+ public, along with community and partnership development.  

With over 15 years of experience in the non-profit and economic development sectors, Miss Miller was recognized as one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” honorees in 2019. Since 2020, she has served as a Commissioner for the Milwaukee County Division on Aging and has been actively involved with the Milwaukee County Falls Prevention Coalition and Wisconsin Coalition of Social Connectiveness. She also currently serves on the board of the Dominican Center for Women. Miss Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management from Alverno College, as well as both an MBA from Upper Iowa University.
