What is the Significance of the Board of Directors at My Credit Union? - A Board Member Panel Conversation
Facilitated by Beth Ellis, Chief Financial & Operating Officer | The Wisconsin Credit Union League

The Board of Directors plays a crucial role in establishing the overarching direction of the credit union. The Board is tasked with steering and overseeing the credit union, ensuring it operates in a financially sound and judicious manner, with decisions consistently aligned with the best interests of the members. The primary responsibility of the Board of Directors lies in charting the strategic path.

But have you ever wondered “what actually happens at my credit union’s board meetings?” The League’s Chief Financial & Operating Officer, Beth Ellis, will facilitate this discussion with board members to provide context and a clearer understanding of a board’s responsibilities and its impacts on the credit unions they serve.

Vision Board: Imagining your Ideal League YP Communications Experience
Meghan Murphy, Senior Marketing Specialist & Event Coordinator | The Wisconsin Credit Union League

This session is all about you and how you would like to receive information from The League that is specific to Young Professionals. Earlier this year we sent out a survey to YPs asking for feedback on the current state and method of communications to YPs and there was a resounding response that you would like to hear from us more often. We would like to learn more from you! The League’s Meghan Murphy will lead this discussion by providing an overview of what we do now, sharing the results of the survey, and then facilitating conversations to build the YP comms of the future. Time to dig in!
