Rhonda Norrbom is the Vice President and Manager of Commercial Lending at CoVantage Credit Union, bringing over 30 years of experience in commercial lending and financial leadership. She currently oversees a commercial portfolio exceeding $115 million and leads a team of seven commercial lenders. Rhonda is an active voting member of the loan committee and serves on key organizational committees, including Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Information Technology Committee (ITC). Her previous responsibilities have included managing NCUA/DFI commercial examinations and developing loan policies and procedures. 

Rhonda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Ottawa University and has served as a REACH Loan Board member for eight years. Her career highlights include helping her team grow the commercial loan portfolio from $90 million to over $1 billion, a milestone that reflects her commitment to supporting local businesses and communities. Prior to her current role, Rhonda worked as a Chief Credit Officer for a community bank, further strengthening her expertise in credit and risk management. 

Beyond her professional achievements, Rhonda is deeply involved in her community. She has served on the Langlade County Economic Loan Board for nine years and mentors emerging leaders through the Tri-State Mentorship Program. Her guiding principle— “Serve others so they can serve you”—underscores her passion for fostering economic growth and helping businesses thrive. 

When she’s not working, Rhonda enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, embracing opportunities to explore new places and create lasting memories.
