Meet our 2024 League Champions! The League Champion Program is a year-long commitment (February 2024-February 2025) that brings together credit union professionals from across the state to promote The Wisconsin Credit Union League's events. Aaron Campbell

Business and Specialized Services Specialist
UW Credit Union

Aaron has worked at UWCU in member facing roles for almost 8 years. Prior to his work at UWCU, he managed political campaigns in Northeastern Wisconsin and worked in the Wisconsin State Capitol for the State Senate. Naturally, promoting The Credit Union Difference is important to Aaron, and is a reason why he is involved with The Wisconsin Credit Union League. He is also a strong believer in developing credit union employees, especially young professionals, by way of networking and educational events through The League. In his off time, he enjoys getting outdoors riding motorcycles, kayaking, camping, cutting firewood, or hiking.

Kelly Culver, CUCE, CCUFC

Branch Operations Manager
Shoreline Hometown Credit Union

Kelly has over 14 years of banking experience and has been a part of The Credit Union Movement for over 4 years since joining Shoreline Hometown Credit Union as a Branch Operations Manager. She graduated from UW-Green Bay with a degree in Environmental Science, but her passion has always been working with people. While at Shoreline, Kelly has developed programs that provide financial education to everyone in her community, specifically those who are underbanked and those who need guidance rebuilding their finances after unexpected life events. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time crafting, gardening, camping with family, and being goofy with her 4- and 8-year-old daughters. She also always tries to catch a Brewers game when she can, whether it is listening to Bob Uecker on the radio, sitting on the couch with her husband watching the game, or going to the ballpark.

Morgan Lecheler

Business Process Analyst
Royal Credit Union

As a Business Process Analyst at Royal Credit Union, Morgan has a passion for helping people and striving for continuous improvement. Working behind the scenes, she facilitates and implements process changes for Members and Team Members. This involves anything from building process maps to leading complex projects that impact the entirety of the organization. Prior to joining the financial industry, she learned and applied the Lean Six Sigma methodology in the manufacturing world by leading cross-functional teams through over twenty kaizen events. Her professional interests include developing and engaging young professionals in The Credit Union Movement and giving back to our community through volunteer initiatives.

Melissa Janssen, CUDE, CCUFC

Program Director of Community Relations
Royal Credit Union

As Program Director of Community Relations, Melissa helps lead Royal Credit Union’s community engagement, advocacy and public relations efforts. She started her credit union career as a financial educator and quickly fell in love with the Movement and all things YP! She is currently a Young Professional Advisor to the Wisconsin Credit Union League Board of Directors and serves on the YP Bootcamp planning committee. She is passionate about creating new opportunities for young professionals and helping them grow as confident leaders and credit union advocates. She is very active in her community and loves spending her free time traveling and doing anything that allows her to be in nature.

Lyndsay Krueger

Branch Manager
Summit Credit Union

Lyndsay has been a part of the community banking industry for the past fourteen years. She has a passion for building and coaching high-performing teams and was proud to play a key role in opening Summit Credit Union’s Weston branch in 2022 and supporting the opening of their Plover location in 2023. Lyndsay is also involved in various local groups that serve and support her community, including being the retail Chair for Summit Credit Union’s Community Giving Committee, a board member for United Way of Marathon Counties United We Celebrate, a Chamber Ambassador for the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce, and an active participant in Women Of Vision and Reading Across America initiatives. She has also fostered partnerships with local organizations such as Mosaic, EDCD Multicultural Community Center, and New Beginnings for Refugees. She is the mother to three amazing children and a devoted wife to a hardworking husband. Through the Champion program, she is excited to spread the credit union message far and wide.

Emily Merk

Learning & Development Manager, CCUFC, CUDE
Summit Credit Union

Emily is a Learning and Development Manager who oversees retail training for her Credit Union. She has over twenty years of experience working for credit unions and is passionate about The Movement and sharing The Credit Union Difference. She’s held a variety of positions over the years including Teller, Lender, Collections Specialist, Learning and Development Specialist, and now L&D Manager. She loves guiding others to success and seeing them learn new things! She is also passionate about financial education and has worked as a financial coach for many years, guiding hundreds of members to help reach their financial goals. She also serves as an internal employee financial coach for her credit union and has facilitated sessions for the FiCEP/CCUFC program over the years, and—in 2023—became part of the CUDE family. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, either watching them on the ball field or basketball court, or spending time at her cabin and going boating on warm summer days.

Katie Rammer

Marketing Coordinator
Kohler Credit Union

Katie is the Marketing Coordinator at Kohler Credit Union in southeastern Wisconsin and has ten years of experience in credit union marketing. She coordinates her credit union’s overall marketing strategies, collaborates with various departments on marketing needs, and leads its social media efforts including content creation, managing feedback, and tracking the success of advertising. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with an emphasis on strategic communication. She currently volunteers on America’s Credit Unions’ Marketing & Business Development Council conference committee, is an active council participant, and is scheduled to graduate from the Marketing & Business Development Certification program this year to earn the designation of CUCME – Credit Union Certified Marketing Executive. She lives and breathes The Credit Union Movement and people before profit philosophy.

Whitney Stoker

Data Analyst
WESTconsin Credit Union

Whitney is a Data Analyst at WESTconsin Credit Union with over seventeen years of experience in The Credit Union Movement. She is a former League YP Advisory Board Member, having contributed to shaping programs and content aimed at empowering young professionals in the credit union industry. As a Master of Science in Data Science candidate and chair of the WESTconsin Credit Union Data Ethics Charter, her professional passions include elevating credit unions’ principled use of data to enrich members’ financial wellbeing and enhance organizational efficiency. Outside of working hours, Whitney enjoys travel, listening to audiobooks, creating cross-stitch projects, and playing Mario Kart with her two young sons. Her favorite league events include YP Bootcamps and State GAC.

Brook Woodbury

Business Deposit Specialist
WCCU Credit Union

Brook started her Credit Union Advocacy Mission in 2021 at Westby Co-op Credit Union (WCCU) in Reedsburg as a MSR. Since then, she has graduated from UW-Whitewater with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Financial Planning and works at the Portage WCCU location as a Business Deposit Specialist. Her hobbies include camping, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding at Devil’s Lake, and spending time with her friends and family. Brook holds the secretary position for the Baraboo FFA Alumni & Supporters and serves as a Section 6 Wisconsin FFA Alumni & Supporters Council Member. Her two favorite credit union networking events so far have been the 2023 State GAC and the fall 2022 YP Conference.
