League going paperless for credit union forms

by Christine Henzig Aug 14, 2014

By the end of this year, The League will phase out use of its paper forms in favor of credit unions' preferred electronic (PDF) format. As part of the change, credit unions can take advantage of a liquidation sale on the remaining paper forms in our inventory.

A majority of Wisconsin credit unions rely on The League's forms year-round for their consumer lending and more.

The League's forms include forms for auto loans, personal property loans, home equity lines and more. Electronic or remaining paper forms can be ordered online.

"Credit unions are encouraged to take advantage of the sale on our remaining paper inventory while supplies last," said Ben Schweder, SVP of the W.C.U.L. Services Corp. "As part of this transition credit unions will continue to have the most flexibility with how many forms they use while effectively managing costs."

All of the League's forms will continue to be reviewed for compliance with state and federal law, providing greater peace of mind for credit unions wishing to keep their focus squarely on member service.

"Credit unions appreciate that as compliance rules have become more complex, they've been able to save time and hassle through use of The League's vast library of lending forms," Schweder added.

Credit unions using League forms download them in PDF format so that they can print whatever quantities they need, or forward them to their data processors.
