commUNITY has become a big hit for networking

commUNITY InfographicNeed a fast and effective way to connect with other Wisconsin credit union professionals statewide? Use commUNITY, The League's online platform for networking. In just a few short months, it's become a popular benefit of League membership.

What

In just its first ten months, a full two-thirds of Wisconsin credit unions have used the online discussion portal to share ideas and best practices, seek vendors, discuss dozens of operational issues and get fast answers to their questions from colleagues statewide.

In less than a year, in 2017:

  • 82 credit unions networked with one another on commUNITY
  • Users logged in more than 2,600 times
  • The portal racked up 1,700 page views
  • More than 240 conversations began
  • More than 1,100 answers to user questions emerged
  • Questions typically received 3 answers, and in less than 48 hours

Who

It’s open to all League-member credit union employees and volunteers. You only need your usual username and password for The League website to access separate forums for general topics, compliance and collections. Members of the League's Business Lending and HR Councils also have their own special sections but you must be a Council member to view them.
