Leverage the power of your credit union membership to assist federal and state advocacy efforts - use Project Zip Code (PZC)!
PZC is a secure program that counts your credit union members and matches them by Congressional district, state legislative district, and county. These secure numbers are uploaded to CUNA’s Project Zip Code website and combined with data from credit unions nationwide.
With every credit union’s members matched, we can accurately show the strength of the credit unions across the country.
Just a few simple steps
Please take a few minutes to run PZC at your credit union - we're asking all Wisconsin credit unions to run an update at least twice a year.
- Download the latest version of the program to your desktop.
- Refer to the detailed User Manual to guide you through the installation.
- Contact Missy Dickson at The League with questions.
- Report to us when you've used PZC; it is one of the important tasks in The League's Advocacy Toolkit. We've asked all Wisconsin credit unions to report their progress using this and other key advocacy tools.
Your members' personal information is not shared with Project Zip Code; only the number of credit union members is transmitted to the PZC national database. Specific member data cannot be viewed by anyone outside your organization and the software will not affect your existing data.
