Over 80 Wisconsin leaders from credit unions across the state made the trip to Washington, D.C. last week to secure support and deepen understanding with our congressional delegation. These leaders were part of over 6,200 attendees at this year's GAC, including representation from over 1,000 credit unions from across the country, a record-setting attendance.

In addition to inspiring keynotes including Brene Brown and Adam Grant, breakout sessions offered practical insights on interchange, stablecoin, and guidance for credit unions to connect the dots for elected officials. To cap off the time in D.C., the group filled the offices of every member of our congressional delegation.

Attendees went to Capitol Hill ready to advocate for policies to expand the ability of credit unions to serve members and protect them from fraud and unnecessary government mandates. By showing up, attendees proved to be partners in improving the financial well-being of Wisconsinites in every congressional district. They also increased Wisconsin's contributions during the annual America's Credit Unions PAC Sweepstakes by over 40% compared to last year.

America's Credit Union's President Scott Simpson ushered in a new era, joining the stage from the crowd to "We're Not Going to Take It." This moment set the tone for our time in Washington. While at GAC, Wisconsin helped to make sure Congress knows how to empower these people-helping-people financial partners trusted by over 145 million Americans.

Many thanks to this year's sponsors, and major thanks to the leaders that carried your message to our nation's capital.
