Wisconsin Credit Union League President/CEO Sarah Wainscott used the opening session of the organization's 2026 convention in Madison to connect the credit union movement's history with the challenges facing the industry today.
Addressing nearly 500 attendees at the league's 92nd annual meeting and expo, Wainscott emphasized the importance of collaboration among credit unions, leagues and system partners as the industry navigates rapid change.
"The financial well-being of Wisconsinites is our collective responsibility," Wainscott told attendees. "We can't make progress toward financial well-being for all unless we do that together."
