Summary

Taylor Credit Union (TCU) is seeking its next President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the credit union into the future. The Board is looking for a seasoned executive who can build on the vision of the credit union and assist in growing the organization to the next level. 

Responsibilities

Working in partnership with the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for the full range of business activities including policy development, staffing, budgeting, operations, planning, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. In collaboration with the Board of Directors, this executive will be responsible for achieving the long and short-term goals and objectives as established in the strategic plan and maintaining the financial stability and health of the credit union. 

Qualifications

• A minimum of an Associate degree with major in finance or business related field, is required.
• A minimum of five years experience or senior management experience within the credit union movement or banking industry, is required.
• A working knowledge of personal computers. Ability to quickly learn various software applications.
• The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills necessary for communicating essential information to the Board of Directors, staff and governmental regulatory agencies.
• Project a positive image as a representative for the Credit Union to include supporting and participating in community organizations and events.

Established in 1951, TCU is located in Medford WI and serves over 7,700 members from Taylor, Clark, Price, Marathon and Lincoln counties. TCU is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the members and communities served. With over $80 million in assets, TCU is the only local full service financial cooperative in Medford with a branch in Abbotsford WI. Financial education for members has been a focus for TCU by providing services through the Financial Coaching program as well as four in-school credit union branches. TCU is active in the community through sponsorships, donations and volunteering at community events and activities.
