Aaron Campbell

Business and Specialized Services Specialist
UW Credit Union

Aaron has worked at UWCU in member facing roles for almost 10+ years. Prior to his work at in finance, he managed political campaigns in Northeastern Wisconsin and worked in the Wisconsin State Capitol for the State Senate. Naturally, promoting The Credit Union Movement is important to Aaron, and is a reason why he is involved with The Wisconsin Credit Union League. He is also a strong believer in developing credit union employees, especially young professionals, by way of networking and educational events through The League. In his off time, he enjoys getting outdoors riding motorcycles, kayaking, camping, cutting firewood, or hiking.


Kelly Culver

Kelly Culver, CUCE, CCUFC

Branch Operations Manager
Shoreline Hometown Credit Union

Kelly has over 15 years of banking experience and has been a part of The Credit Union Movement for over 5 years since joining Shoreline Hometown Credit Union as a Branch Operations Manager. She graduated from UW-Green Bay with a degree in Environmental Science, but her passion has always been working with people. While at Shoreline, Kelly has developed programs that provide financial education to everyone in her community, specifically those who are underbanked and those who need guidance rebuilding their finances after unexpected life events. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time crafting, gardening, camping with family, and being goofy with her 4- and 8-year-old daughters. She also always tries to catch a Brewers game when she can, whether it is listening to Bob Uecker on the radio, sitting on the couch with her husband watching the game, or going to the ballpark.

Amy Ortega

Consumer Lending Market Manager, Wisconsin East 
Marine Credit Union

Amy Ortega serves as the Consumer Lending Market Manager for Marine Credit Union’s Wisconsin East region, where she leads market growth, lending strategy, and team development. She is committed to advancing lives by building strong, healthy financial relationships with members and community partners.
In addition to her leadership role, Amy is the Chair of Marine Credit Union’s VolunTEAM Committee, guiding impactful community initiatives that support the people the credit union serves. She also contributes her expertise as a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, helping strengthen local support systems and outreach efforts. Driven by purpose and community connection, Amy focuses on expanding financial opportunities, empowering individuals and families, and fostering meaningful partnerships throughout the region.


Melissa Janssen

Melissa Janssen, CUDE, CCUFC

Program Director of Community Relations
Royal Credit Union

As Program Director of Community Relations, Melissa helps lead Royal Credit Union’s community engagement, advocacy and public relations efforts. She started her credit union career as a financial educator and quickly fell in love with the Movement and all things YP! She is currently a Young Professional Advisor to the Wisconsin Credit Union League Board of Directors and serves on the YP Bootcamp planning committee. She is passionate about creating new opportunities for young professionals and helping them grow as confident leaders and credit union advocates. She is very active in her community and loves spending her free time traveling and doing anything that allows her to be in nature.

Jennifer Schlegel

Project Management Office Manager

At Marine Credit Union, Jennifer leads our Project Management Office and, prior to that, held roles as a Lending Manager and a Training Manager. She earned her Masters in Servant Leadership from Viterbo University and is currently working towards my MBA at the University of Southern Indiana.  She lives in Holmen, WI with her husband and two children.

Scarlet Huffman

Mortgage Loan Office
Westby Co-Op Credit Union

 Scarlet currently serves as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Westby Co-Op Credit Union, where she has supported members through financial education and homeownership for over two and a half years, beginning her career as a teller. Her work is rooted in the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People,” which strongly aligns with her core values and passion for serving others. Scarlet brings a diverse background that includes experience in education, parks and recreation, healthcare as a nursing assistant, small business ownership, church leadership, and community volunteering. She currently serves as a board member for the Soccer Club of Reedsburg. As a parent and young professional, she is deeply committed to strengthening families through financial advocacy, inclusion, and community empowerment. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, reading, listening to podcasts, attending comedy shows, Brewers games, crafting, putting puzzles together, and spending time with her family.
