Chippewa Valley Chapter Trivia Night Supports WCULAF

Last week, Activists from the Chippewa Valley Chapter participated in a virtual trivia night in support of the Wisconsin Credit Union Legislative Action Fund (WCULAF).

The donations from Activists enhance The Movement's impact and ability to support credit union friendly candidates.

In November's elections, WCULAF contributed a record amount and 99% of those dollars went to candidates that won their election.

Help to rebuild WCULAF for future successes by contacting Tom Harrington if you'd like to host a trivia night to benefit WCULAF, or visit The League's Fundraising Accounts page for instructions to make a credit card contribution to WCULAF.

The League Meets New Assembly Democrats

Last week, League Staff met with the newly elected State Assembly Democrats through the Assembly Democratic Campaign Committee (ADCC) New Member Virtual Meet & Greet.

The 2021-2022 Legislative Session will feature eight new State Senators and 16 new State Representatives.

League Staff Met With CUNA, CUNA Mutual Group, and Other Leagues

Earlier this month, advocacy professionals and presidents from various leagues, CUNA, and CUNA Mutual Group met for a conference hosted by American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL).

This annual meeting helps the group collaborate on a 2021 advocacy agenda at the federal level and to leverage the experiences of other groups to tackle issues on the state level.

During the meeting, the group discussed the newly confirmed NCUA Board Member Kyle Hauptman and what a Biden Administration will mean for advocacy efforts in 2021. Both NCUA Chairman Rodney Hood and NCUA Board Member Todd Harper addressed the group during the meeting, as well.
