There will be many new faces at this year’s Annual Convention and Expo in Appleton. If you’re curious about what makes this event so special, read these top 5 reasons!

1. Learn About Something New

Whether you are a CEO or member services representative, there is something new that can be learned at Convention. Interested in the future of cryptocurrency? Looking to retain talent and attract more? Check out these sessions and more at Convention.

2. Stay Current in your Field

There will be countless takeaways at each session that will directly apply to improving your way of thinking, communicating, and approaching your role at the credit union. This year you’ll be able to flag your breakout sessions in the app two weeks before Convention. This allows you to customize your experience and get the most out of Convention.

3. Expand your Social Network

Each day will offer an event or two specifically for meeting with other credit union colleagues. This is the largest event The League puts on each year. There are many familiar and new faces. You never know when a conversation can turn into an opportunity!

4. Listen to Award Winning Presentations

Convention doesn’t come up short when booking top-notch presenters. If you’re looking for inspiration, look no farther than Angela Prestil of CU Difference. Angela a hosting our Art of Networking luncheon and will be a panelist for our highly anticipated DEI Panel Discussion.

5. Pay it Forward

Like many League events, there will be a local service project. This year we are working with the Appleton Area School District to gather school supplies to support education and literacy. Be sure to bring something to donate and pay it forward.

This is only a handful of reasons to attend but we also want to highlight that this year is a celebration. After the past two years, we are fortunate to come together in person and learn as one. We hope to see you there!
