We can’t believe it is already that time of the year again to be announcing that our League Convention & Expo is open for registration! Last year, we hosted over 400 credit union professionals in Appleton-- our first in-person Convention since 2019. This year we are headed to the Wisconsin Dells for our can’t-miss premiere event. See you there!
Now, more than ever, a company’s culture is just as important as the job itself. Credit union culture is the key to our identity and an excellent example of “putting people first.” This year, our Convention will explore The Credit Union Difference and how culture brings the people before profit motto alive. Like many Conventions, we will be incorporating a community service project, so stay tuned for details on this opportunity to give back!
Climate can mean many things depending on whom you ask, but what kind of role do credit unions have in the changing of the work, economic, and environmental climate? Let’s take a deeper dive into Financial Well-being for All and how credit unions are making an impact by creating programs for economic success for their members. Additionally, how can credit unions take an extra look at how climate change is impacting their members? In true cooperative fashion, The League will also be taking measures at Convention to conserve and reduce unneeded waste.
Hear from our three keynotes on why Culture & Climate are important.
Ross Shafer will be speaking on staying relevant in 2023, and future-proofing credit unions. WILD is back at Convention this year, too. Participants will move from insights to ideation, from prototyping to testing, and their homegrown innovations will be officially unveiled Convention. Friday afternoon you will hear from Dr. James Pogue on the importance of DEI.
All this and more at the League’s 2023 Convention & Expo.
