With International Credit Union Day this October 17, there is much to celebrate about the lasting and positive impact of the nearly-century-old credit union movement in Wisconsin.

On Sunday, July 14, Corporate Central and The League hosted Credit Union Day at the Ballpark, a fundraising event to benefit Children’s Miracle Network, The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation, and The National Credit Union Foundation.

Four Wisconsin credit union members—including a 12-year-old from Wood County—have been awarded $1,000 apiece just for saving their own money in the Saver’s Sweepstakes™ program’s quarterly drawing.

Governor Scott Walker proclaimed Thursday, October 18 Credit Union Day in Wisconsin, honoring credit unions for a job well done!

This new saving incentive program offers consumers chances to win cash for increasing their savings balances. Members of participating credit unions will begin opening prize-linked savings accounts in September.
