77 participants from three states were selected to participate in this year’s Tristate Mentor Match - a 12-month formal mentorship program developed in partnership by the Minnesota Credit Union Network, Montana’s Credit Unions and the Wisconsin Credit Union League. The program is designed to build, grow, and support professionals and inspire commitment to a career in the credit union movement. On April 1, Governor Tony Evers proclaimed the month of April as Financial Literacy and Capability Month in Wisconsin. The proclamation is part of a nationwide effort to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy education and financial wellness.

The recent collapse of two regional banks has raised concerns regarding the soundness of the US banking system. While this situation does not involve the collapse of a credit union, it is important to keep the following in mind.

From February 11-19, 130 participants moved it for The Movement, breaking a sweat and raising $12,000 to support the wellness of Wisconsin's credit unions. The annual Frozen Foundation Fitness Fundraiser, held each winter, featured shoveling, skiing, snowmobiling, walking, pickle-balling, four-legged friends, and plenty of other assorted winter fun and frolicking!

On Sunday, July 24, Corporate Central and The League hosted Credit Union Day at the Ballpark, a fundraising event to benefit The Wisconsin Credit Union Foundation and The National Credit Union Foundation. Over $20,000 was raised!
