Looking to Strengthen Credit Unions' Impact By Pitching In? Every Dollar Counts!

Still on the Fence About Donating?

Political Advocacy is Important & Your Participation Makes a Difference!

Political advocacy allows credit unions to provide financial support that can help elect and keep credit union friendly elected officials in office. Contributions to campaigns allow Activists to build rapport with candidates and key elected officials, show support for the individuals that champion our priorities, and importantly give our allies running for office the leg up they need to win election.

Credit union champions in elected office help to:

  • Promote positive credit union legislation,
  • Push back on regulatory overreach, and
  • Protect credit unions from potentially harmful legislation.

Many allies in elected office puts credit unions in a strategically strong position to achieve our priorities.

Our Ask for All Activists: Can you spare $2 a pay period?

Together, your $2 each payday (around $50 a year) creates a $50,000 safety net.  Those dollars mean something – they help buy lawn signs and flyers, and put key lawmakers in a position to win election and stand up for the interests of your credit union and your ability to serve members.
